Squirrel Scouts are boys and girls usually aged between four and six years old. They belong to the first and youngest section in the Scouting family.  Our Drey is just about to launch – it will run on a Tuesday during term time and aims to be a friendly and active place for your child!

What do squirrels do?

We will try to do as many different things as possible at the Scout Hut and elsewhere. We will go on day visits, and even have occasional sleepovers!

Sessions will be full of laughter as we try a variety of outdoor activities, crazy games and get creative while making lots of new friends. Once the squirrels become 6yrs old, they can move on to beavers.

Badges

Our squirrels will take part in lots of activities that go towards various “activity” and “challenge” badges. Please sew them onto the squirrel’s jumper when your squirrel is awarded the badges. Below is a diagram showing where they should go.
