Scouts

Scouts is the third section in the Scouting family and has been running for the longest time.  Scouts are typically 10.5-14yrs old.

As an active Scout Troop, we get up to all sorts of exciting and adventurous activities, both in our regular meetings, which run on Tuesdays and Thursdays during term time, and on camps and visits.

Badges

Scouts have challenge badges, that work towards their Chief Scouts Gold badge, and over seventy activity badges that let them discover many new activities.  If your scout is awarded a badge, please sew it on their shirt as shown below:

More information about scout badges can be found on the scouts.org.uk website.

What do scouts do?

Scouts are at the age where they can experience the true adventure that scouting has to offer – from arts and crafts in the meeting place to jumping off cliffs, climbing, sailing, hiking, raft building and many more! We aim to give scouts a wide range of experiences so they can learn some new skills by accident along the way.
