1st Copmanthorpe Scouts is run entirely by volunteers and we really welcome parents and carers of young people getting involved.

There are lots of ways of helping out the group. As well as regular volunteers who plan and run weekly activities in each Section (Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers), there are also people who work behind the scenes on administration, finance, governance, and fundraising. Plus there are many occasional tasks that need doing and don’t involve a regular time commitment – if we don’t get help with these tasks, one of the regular volunteers needs to add it to their responsibilities.
